WAK Studios
WAK Studios create digital animations and graphics, 3d visualisations for interior design, advertising and web content. As well as its visual designs, the business, started by Warren Fearn, works with schools from around Doncaster to encourage learning within disengaged students.
WAK studios also offers an accredited 10 week course at Doncaster College to train students in Digital Animation and are keen to develop further accredited courses to teach throughout Doncaster and South Yorkshire.
Success Doncaster helped Warren and WAK studios through its Business Buddies contract. Warren’s personal business buddy worked with him on a marketing strategy and introduced him to the CIDA programme who also gave him advice.
Warren has worked well with his advisors from the Success Doncaster programme and has even signed up to become a CIDA mentor and actively gives time to other Doncaster businesses in the creative sector.
WAK has been acknowledged for the hard work that has been put in to the studios through several awards including a Business Success Award for a new start up company leading to the economic growth in Doncaster.
