Pyott Construction is a Construction company that has been trading since 2006. The company has in the past worked with Pastures Lodge to construct a hotel.
Business owner, Ian Pyott first contacted Success Doncaster for help as an existing business in 2008 and was referred to the Business Buddies initiative. Together, Ian and his Business Buddy looked at employment law, software issues, training, time management and best practice. Ian also received help from Beta Technology’s Accountancy Buddy who gave him advice on VAT, tax implications and cash flow.
One of the first things that the Business Buddies realised about Ian was his great networking skills and they looked at ways this could be used to his advantage in business. Using their expertise as guidance, they concentrated on ways of procurement and securing major contracts.
Since being in touch with Success Doncaster, Ian has secured three public contracts and has recently secured a £2million contract with a major supermarket. This has made the company grow from its initial £250k turn over and Ian now has a lot more confidence in business thanks to his Business Buddy.
