Leanne Mallison
Leanne Mallison had aspirations of becoming a childminder from a young age, through determination and a clear focus she has managed to achieve this and start her own business in an exceptionally short period.
After leaving school, Leanne secured a position in a nursery, in the next four years she progressed to another two different nurseries, constantly gaining the experience she needed to reach her goal.
At age 20, Leanne gained the qualifications she needed to match her experience and became registered with Ofsted. Now she just needed to start her business, this is where Success Doncaster came to her assistance.
Leanne has had help from an Enterprise Coach and a Business Advisor for pre start and new-start business advice respectively and she is also being referred to Business Buddies for ongoing business support.
Leanne is now 21 and cares for 3 – 4 children at any one time. Her business advisor says she is a true inspiration to people her own age for what she has achieved at such a young age.
