Little Rosebuds
With her only experience being in restaurants and pubs, Rachael Hodgson knew that starting her own childminding business would be difficult but nonetheless, a challenge she would enjoy.
Rachael attended some Early Years courses and was then inspected by OFSTED before she started Little Rosebuds and this put her on the path to business success.
Little Rosebuds of Bawtry is an example of a business that has been supported through Success Doncaster through more than one of its contracts. Rachael has received help from Doncaster Chamber Business Start Up who assisted with the planning of her business. She has also received help from North Doncaster Development Trust and she has been awarded the Rose Award (Rural) from Princes Trust to enable her to start the business.
Her business advisor at the chamber said that Rachael is highly delighted with all the help and support she has received through the Success Doncaster programme and is glad she is finally achieving her ambition to run her own business.
