Linda and Tomas Torstensson originally came up with the idea for KoziKids on a visit to England while still living in Sweden. When out with their children, they were stopped on numerous occasions and asked where they had purchased the clothes that the kids were wearing. This led them to see that there was a gap in the market for fashionable yet durable children’s clothing.

Using their experience of working as senior managers within major companies, Linda and Tomas created the brand KoziKidz and through it designed and manufactured a range of clothes for children that uses the latest in colour, design and fabric technologies to keep kids warm & dry so that they can enjoy playing outside whatever the weather.

Coming to Success Doncaster for business assistance, Linda and Tomas benefited from their own personal Business Buddy who was on hand to help them deal with any issues they had. Their Business Buddy helped with general guidance during the early days of the business and when they felt ready to move from running the business from home to relocating to their own office, their buddy helped them find a suitable premises. Linda and Tomas were also introduced to another local business and fellow Success Doncaster beneficiary Creative Imaging who have worked with them to produce marketing ideas and photography.

Kozikidz is now selling rapidly across the UK and is becoming a big success, the business is also selling product overseas with sales in Czech Republic, Ireland, Bermuda, Denmark and soon Russia.

The distribution base is growing at home and abroad and the business has developed to outsource its packing and distribution to a local warehouse. This has all added up to the profile being constantly raised of KoziKidz.
