With a passion for architectural photography and a decade of experience in the design industry behind him, Jamie Bubb turned his hand to photography with his own business.

His knowledge of colour, tone and composition from working with graphic design and illustrations meant the transition to photography was an easy one and he used his self taught skills to help him succeed.

Six years on and Jamie came to Success Doncaster for help to expand his business further. He had already been doing steady business but felt he wanted get ahead of his competitors and create more opportunities for himself.

Success Doncaster put him in touch with Business Buddy Steve Errington who advised him to join the Chamber of Commerce and start attending various exhibitions to network and showcase his skills. He began to build up his portfolio of his photographic art and aiming his talents at a wider, more ‘up-market’ audience.

The experience of having a Business Buddy has built Jamie’s confidence in his abilities and has given his business new links and direction including one with the Doncaster Chamber of Commerce for whom he has produced a large piece of artwork for the Chambers reception.

Jamie was given support with the behind the scenes part of his business such as books, accounts, VAT and copywriting his images which has boosted his business confidence and given him more time to concentrate on his artistic projects.

Other notable works that he has had commissioned include a wrap around hoarding display positioned around a worksite in Sheffield city centre. This project has created a stir about his business and led Jamie further down the path of making a name for himself within the art world.
