While working for a number of computer retailers, businessman Steve Warrender realised there was as much need for IT support as there was for IT sales in the market yet there was a significant gap. He decided to take on the challenge of starting his own business and created IT To Go.

Starting out with just two hundred pounds from home, Steve built up his business from scratch and offered IT support to individuals and businesses alike. IT To Go provides a large selection of computer services including: - websites, network support, servers, CCTV, virus support, and lessons both in our shop and on site for customers in the home, business, and local government.

The business also provides a wide range of both Custom Built and ‘Off the shelf’ computers and laptops along with a wide selection of IT related peripherals.

After two years of trading, Steve had built up the business enough to begin renting a premises in Doncaster town centre. He continued to put in a lot of hard work and in January 2008 after building up a bigger client base he was able to relocate the business to his own shop on Hatfield high street. He is now looking at relocating for a third time and hiring extra staff to be able to expand even further.

Steve first came to Success Doncaster for general business advice. He was referred to the Business Buddies program where he was partnered with his own personal buddy who offered him support on business growth. After learning the advantages of networking, Steve was advised to hold a stall at the Success Doncaster Business Showcase, a highlight which he said was the best way of making contacts in business.
