Jay Graham
Jay Graham had always been in employment. However, he was made redundant in April 2009 and with no CV to his name he found looking for jobs extremely difficult as his only source for looking at adverts was in his local jobcentre or the newspaper.
Jay came to Success Doncaster for support through the Jobmates programme, he realised that not having a CV was a major issue in his job search and this was something that his Jobmate helped him to address first of all.
Having handed out his CV to a number of potential employers Jay continued to look for work but still did not have any luck. Meanwhile, his Jobmate had heard about possible openings at Cooplands and printed out an application for him. Jay completed this and returned it the same day so it could be posted.
Jay was successful in his application and is now in employment with Cooplands. The position is ideal for him as it is close to home and he does not have to worry about transport issues and he enjoys his job.
