Home Computer Services (HCS) was started by Paul Astbury in 2001 but it wasn’t until this year that he first came to Success Doncaster for help as an existing business.
HCS is a computer outlet for anything IT related. Paul, who is Microsoft certified, also offers an IT maintenance service for customers with complete support on all equipment.
He initially came to Success Doncaster for support in marketing, concerns over his accountancy bills and training. He was partnered with a personal Business Buddy who met with him and suggested ways he could help.
After meeting for the first time, Paul’s Business Buddy had already thought of ways to help with his accountancy issues, with a change of software and the way he was doing them, Paul was shown how to spend 90% less time on his books and had had his accountancy bills by 75%. His Buddy also suggested ways of running a marketing campaign on a budget including design and distribution of a leaflet for the business.
Since his first meetings with his Business Buddy, Paul has also received advice on applying for a Security Grant, he has come along way with the programme and has learnt from the advice he has received as well as saving money on expensive bills he had had to face in the past.
