Following difficulties in her private life, Fiona Parry and her four children were forced to move back to live with her parents where she began claiming single parent benefit. Ambitious and determined to set a shining example to her children, Fiona started to think about how she could turn her back on benefits and start earning a living.
Fiona had all the business ideas to work for herself but found she needed just that extra support in order to turn her idea into reality. That is when she turned to Success Doncaster for help and with support from her Enterprise Coach she was able to launch her new business, Fee-lines. Fiona enrolled on an A4E business course where she was helped to create a business plan and carry out research on the viability of her business idea. As a course member, she received £175 each week for fifteen weeks to enable her to trial the business to potential clients and establish whether Fee-lines could become a success. She also qualified for a £500 grant which was a great financial help towards her business start up costs.
With her new found confidence and improved self esteem, Fiona was motivated and ready to start. She launched Fee-lines in April 2010 - a business specialising in lingerie parties.
Fee-lines offers high quality lingerie brought to your doorstep at an affordable price and is a fun party with a difference that anyone can host in their own homes. Fiona attends the parties to offer advice and guidance on the many different lingerie styles to suit individual needs and ensures that the party host has a comfortable and enjoyable experience keeping the guests entertained throughout the evening.
Fee-lines is growing from strength to strength as is Fiona’s confidence and thanks to her ongoing success Fiona and her children have been able to move into a new home. She finally feels that her life is back on track.
