Richard Munyeza started Care from Home with a view to deliver a service of personal care and associated domestic services to meet the needs of clients in their own environment. The business offers its services to adults with all different needs in the comfort of their own home to ensure they are at completely comfortable while they are being cared for.
Success Doncaster came to the assistance of Richard by helping him reach the required standards necessary when operating a care business. Richard was referred to the Doncaster 100 (D100) who provided him with mentor Vesta Ryng who is qualified and experienced in Health and Safety.
Vesta reviewed risk assessment, policy, law and training with Richard and gave him practical advice in how to meet all the legislate requirements of the business as well as offering him the option to enrol on relevant discounted work-based health and safety courses through his company PRISM Safety Management.
The mentor service between Richard and Vesta is a prime example of how the D100 work, Richard has the option of regular meetings to gain support and advice on developing Care from Home and Vesta is extremely willing to be a dedicated mentor and continue the working relationship going.
