Ecoknits
A niche in the knitting market was the source of inspiration for Kristy Wilcox when she started her business Eco-Knits. Through sourcing environmentally dyed yarn, Kristy imports and sells it on to customers through the aid of the internet.
Kristy joined the Creativity in Business Programme in September 2008, being mentored by Anne Marie Logan.
Kristy said: “The mentoring experience has been incredibly positive. Anne Marie has been brilliant. She’s looked at my business from the outside, and as such, she can see things that I’d completely miss. She’s had some great ideas about workshops, widening client bases and new places to advertise, it’s given me the impetus to actively seek places to teach.
