After several frustrating months unsuccessfully searching for a job, Nicola Brown decided it was time to create her own opportunities and become self employed. A fully qualified nail and beauty technician, Nicola decided to set up her own business to allow her to juggle working life with the needs of her four children and came up with Beautifyde.
With a need for business start-up know-how and finance to get Beautifyde off the ground, Nicola turned to Success Doncaster and was referred to a business advisor who registered her on the Business Start-Up Course. This gave her the knowledge she needed to confidently and effectively run her new venture.
Nicola also received funding which helped to turn her business dream into reality, and with additional business support including looking at contracts, rental options and pricing issues, Beautifyde had the boost it needed to open its doors to the public.
Truly inspiring, Nicola credits her success to the help she received from Success Doncaster and her advisor. She has proved that hard work and determination gets results, setting a shining example to her children, who are only too keen to follow in their ambitious and motivated mum’s footsteps!
