Cousins Colin and Mark Rushton had both worked repairing white goods for about 8 years, whilst working within the company the saw an opportunity to both form a partnership and start their own business repairing electrical goods.
They approached their management with a sound business plan and have now set up repairing electrical goods and retailing them to the general public.
For some extra assistance on the business side of things, Colin and Mark approached Success Doncaster for some support. They were assigned a Business Advisor and worked with them, attending a Business Start-Up Workshop, attending a HMRC workshop and have received one to one support from their advisor including business planning support. They also continue to receive help and support from the Business Growth Clubs as and when they require it.
Colin and Mark are now continuing to work together well and are relishing in the opportunity to become self employed. They are now looking to develop the business further and hope within their first year of trading that they will be able to employ a further member of staff.
