Doncaster Council successfully bid for £19m of Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) government funding. LEGI is a long term plan to encourage and develop enterprising behaviour and transform the culture in Doncaster, assisting people to 'Unlock their Talent!' The Doncaster LEGI programme is now operating under the brand 'Success Doncaster'.
Success Doncaster will use enterprise to change peoples lives particularly in the disadvantaged areas of Doncaster ensuring residents and businesses play an active role in the continued success of Doncaster.
Success Doncaster is a scheme run by Doncaster Council working collaboratively with businesses and service providers across the Borough.
The main aim is to help local people start new businesses, promote and encourage business growth, increase turnover, prosperity and employment in Doncaster.
The scheme offers a wide range of support to those who are thinking of working for themselves and to existing businesses wanting to grow and develop.
