Starting a new business can be risky but there’s a way you can test trade your business whilst getting specialist help and support to make a success of it.
Success Doncaster have teamed up with Doncaster Market to offer an exciting opportunity to test the market with your business idea on a number of purpose built market stalls based in The Wool Market and one in the Food Hall. This innovative project offers a low risk environment with a great deal of support along the way.
The ‘Test Trading’ opportunity gives any new business the chance to give it a go and decide if it’s right for you before taking the plunge. Should you decide that it is not for you, then you will have gained new valuable skills to take forward with you to help in your future.
The Test Trading initiative is managed and funded by Success Doncaster!
The Offering
We are currently looking for new small businesses to take a number of available stalls within the Wool Market and one in the Food Hall for a period of 12 weeks.
This is a great way to get your business up and running, with little financial risk. Businesses can develop their business plan, gain access to other market traders, use it as a way to build confidence, test your products and get a feel for how running a business will be, while receiving tailored advice and support from a dedicated Success Doncaster business advisor.
Additional Support
Additional advice and business support is provided informally during the course of the test trade experience for all test traders. Clients can benefit from information on many aspects of forming and running a business; costing and pricing, regulatory requirements, legal aspects, etc, all available from a dedicated business adviser.
What happens after 12 weeks?
At this point your reduced period on the stall ends and you could apply for your own market stall if you wish or obtain support and advice with looking at alternative space or premises for your business.
