Fashionista Charlotte Desmier is celebrating after finishing as runner-up in a nationwide competition.
 
Charlotte, 22, of Edenthorpe, graduated from the BA (Hons) Combined Design degree at University Centre Doncaster this summer and competed in this year's Fashion Diversity event at London Museum during London Fashion Week.
 
After finishing second, Charlotte said: "It was really good to be recognised for something that I have worked so hard to achieve.
 
"I got a lot of compliments while I was down there and a few people wanted to buy my coats from me – that was a very nice compliment."
 
Charlotte follows in the footsteps of previous University Centre Doncaster graduates who have competed well in the event in recent years.
 
She added: "I am hoping to start some work experience as a clerical buyer and hopefully achieve what I have always wanted which is to become a buyer for a retailer.
 
"I really enjoyed my time at Doncaster College and University Centre Doncaster – I've studied there for five years and I feel I have learned and developed a lot from the first day I started. I definitely wouldn't have a collection like I did if it wasn't for my studies."
