DN Showcase - New Event!  23rd May 2012!

Regretfully the joint Chamber / Success Doncaster DN Showcase scheduled for the 14th & 15th March 2012, has been cancelled (please see the statement further below for the email from the Chamber to their exhibitors regarding this cancellation).

However, we are very pleased to announce the NEW date and venue for the 1 day Success Doncaster Showcase as Wednesday 23rd of May 2012 to be held at The Dome. (further details to follow).

If you are a business that had already booked on to the March Showcase event and would still like to be an exhibitor on the 23rd May at the Dome, please could you confirm by responding to this email or call Heather Hamilton on 01302 736653. Due to the inconvenience caused we would like to offer you a reduced rate of £35 + vat for the day per stand. We really hope that you will be able to join us and exhibit on the 23rd of May with Success Doncaster.

We are confident that we have the interest and enthusiasm from our businesses and it is an event that has always been highly valued in terms of networking and building contacts within the local business community. Success Doncaster had a large number of stands allocated to businesses for the DN Showcase and we are absolutely delighted to be able to provide you with the benefits of attending one of our Showcases in May as part of the Doncaster business calendar. If any of you remember back to 2008 & 2009 and the previous Success Doncaster Showcases which were held at the Dome, we aim to ensure that the 2012 Business Showcase will be as successful and vibrant as they were!

Doncaster Chamber statement as referred to above

'It is with great disappointment that .....the Directors of Doncaster Chamber have reluctantly decided to cancel the DN Business Showcase event that was due to be held at Doncaster Racecourse on 14th and 15th March.  We are now only about 6 weeks away from the event and the number of businesses signing up for stands at the show was still very low.  At the Chamber we are used to the business community coming up on the inside rail at the last minute at events of this sort and leaving their bookings until late in the day but, in this case, the level of financial commitment to the Chamber was such that we could not run the risk of the losses that we would have faced if we had been forced to cancel at a later date when more contractual arrangements with our suppliers had been entered into.....'
