Success Doncaster

Success Doncaster’s Space for Success programme was developed to ensure the supply of workspace accommodation in Doncaster meets the needs of a vibrant and growing business economy. Please note: funding for this initiative came to an end on 22nd September 2011.  

The principle behind Space for Success was to provide funding opportunities for managed workspaces, shared business premises, micro business incubation units for new and small businesses that currently operate from home, or do not have a business address and premises. 

The programme encouraged the use of existing premises within the community and worked with landlords and property owners on developing them for use.  These premises may have been in need of refurbishing or adapting to bring them into use for managed workspace purposes, in deprived areas most in need of regeneration and where entrepreneurial activity requires a base to establish a greater presence.
 
The funding to develop properties has now come to an end, but we are still helping landlords and property owners by addressing the number of empty properties throughout Doncaster and ensuring that high quality, sustainable and affordable workspace accommodation is available to local businesses.
