Work and Enterprise Coaches
Jobmates have now been replaced by our new Work and Enterprise Coaches.
Job hunters and budding entrepreneurs can continue to get free support to help change their lives thanks to Success Doncaster.
The new Steps to Success project, being delivered by Doncaster West Development Trust (DWDT) as part of the Success Doncaster programme, provides advice and support to local people in order to help them find work or become self-employed.
The Work and Enterprise Coaches will also help individuals to identify and access appropriate volunteering and training opportunities. Our friendly team of qualified Work and Enterprise Coaches will work with local people who are keen to improve their employment prospects and who may need more skills training and practical support, to overcome personal barriers they may be facing. These could include issues ranging from confidence building, finance and business planning.
Our Work and Enterprise Coaches are based in the 11 Opportunity Centre's located throughout the borough and they work very closely with other specialist agencies including Jobcentre Plus in helping people achieve their goals and improve their future.
Providing support and advice right in the heart of the community means the Steps to Success project is accessible to individuals with support tailored to the needs of each individual.
Please note that if you're currently unemployed and receive support from The Work Programme, this may affect your eligibility for support from the ‘Steps to Success’ project.
