What is the Working Neighbourhoods Fund?
The Working Neighbourhoods Fund (WNF) is a scheme set up by the Government as part of its drive to encourage and assist people into employment. The Fund will increase social and economic regeneration by improving rates of work, enterprise and economic performance.
How is Success Doncaster involved?
Success Doncaster is the brand name for Doncaster Council’s Work Skills and Enterprise Programme. It offers our businesses, communities and individuals support to develop their employment, skills and enterprise potential by increasing skill and enterprise levels, whilst supporting people to get off benefits and back into employment, targeting the most hard to reach. The programme will help to create a sustainable Doncaster where people want to live and work, and where businesses want to invest.
Working in partnership with the public and private sector, the programme is equipped to deal with worklessness* in the community by offering a vast range of services tailor-made to suit your needs.
* Worklessness includes the unemployed, and those without a job who are not actively seeking work, but may still be receiving benefits such as income support.
