Success Doncaster is committed to working with Doncaster schools, Doncaster Enterprise for Learning (DE4L) is the recognised brand name for this activity.
DE4L offers a planned and coordinated approach to Doncaster schools and businesses. The programme encourages enterprise learning in education and develops partnerships between schools and businesses.
DE4L aims to introduce children to entrepreneurship from an early age and in a creative and inspiring manner to prepare each individual for adult like and work. It does this by holding events and activities such as the annual 'Technology Challenge' which provides a fantastic learning experience for pupils and businesses alike. The teachers involved have a one day placement in the business to help understand the business and set the challenge.
Employers who wish to develop sustainable partnerships with local schools can also benefit from the courses that DE4L run. These offer businesses the chance to strengthen enterprise and vocational provision through a four module training programme over a short period of time.
