Are you different from Business Link and other business support organisations?
We work very closely with Business Link and other business support organisations. If we feel another organisation can better meet your needs, we will not hesitate in introducing you to the right person who can help you.
Why do I get more than one Business Buddy working with me?
Running a business uses many skills. You have to be a salesman, a bookkeeper, a marketing expert and so much more. Whilst your Business Buddy has many experiences and skills at his/her finger-tips, sometimes it is useful to work with more than one.
Can I let other businesses know about the help and support of the Business Buddies?
Yes, we would be more than happy for you to pass on our name to others.
Is there any funding available?
Not directly from Business Buddy support, but your Business Buddy may be able to help you access other sources of funding available. For example loan finance to help with your cash flow and training needs.
Can you help me with training and new skills?
Yes, a Business Buddy can help with these. We also have knowledge of other sources of support.
My friend was given £1,000. Why can't I have some?
This particular financial assistance is no longer available. However, we can help you access loan finance with support of a Finance Friend. Although cash flow is tight for many businesses in today’s economic climate, practical assistance can be invaluable. We can also help you access financial health checks from Business Link.
